Clear coat for sealing the fire retardant paint Novatherm 1FR. Protega Top 1FR is a clear coat with a solvent, half of which is derived from bio-based solvent. Our transparent fire retardant paint Novatherm 1FR must be sealed with Top 1FR. Novatherm 1FR is hygroscopic and without sealing, it will attract moisture and appear milky.
Protega Top 1FR itself does not provide fire protection but is solely a sealant for our transparent fire retardant paint.

Applied with a brush, roller, or airless spray in a thin layer of approximately 60 grams/m2
(5-liter bucket covers about 45 m2)
