PROTEGA STEEL 1001 + topcoats
It is important and also a requirement to ensure that the material painted over the fire retardant paint does not inhibit the paint from expanding in case of fire. This is tested by a fire lab in accordance with EAD 3500402-00-1106. We now have several of the market’s leading topcoats approved with our fire retardant paint. Below is a list of approved topcoats.
- Akzo Nobel: Nordsjö Professional Snickerifärg 15 – Nordsjö Professional Traditional Metal Paint – Nordsjö Professional P10
- DAW: Färdigfärg 40 – Pansartäck V
